A group of us went out on an excursion on a 36-foot sail boat out of shelter island. There was a great crew on the boat. Susan, in from Santa Fe, Roomie, Audrey, her cousin Amanda, Tony (occasionally known as Peter), Lisa-C and Mike J. And our trusty Bulgarian captain Nikolai.
We tootled around on the Bay for a while before making for the open waters past Point Loma. The pitch and yaw of the waves causes a little indigestion among some of the crew, but we were out for ~4 hours that really flew by. Of course we had way too much food (but oddly not enough wine), and we ended up adjourning to Tony's for birthday cake and spa'ing.
