These are a couple of sea turtles (honu) that hung out in the waves that broke right outside our backyard in the place we rented in Kauai in 2005. It was a great place, right on the ocean, and every morning (or evening) we could have coffee (or mai-tais) and the honu would be there. When the light was just right, it would illuminate through the waves and you could get a great view of the honu.
Pretty easy choice for the page-theme for this blog.
