Friday Drabble: Refuge

A few weeks ago, Ross started the Friday Drabble – a drabble being a very short story of exactly 100 words.  Feel free to join in and write your own 100 word stories on Fridays, and tag them with “friday drabble”.  Link to them in the comments here, or on Twitter with the hashtag #fridaydrabble.  Go on, give it a try.
Merlin rubbed his temples.
“It was the worst dream yet,” he told his apprentice. “I saw a knight in visored, white armor planting a flag…”
“Is that so strange?” the young man interrupted.
“…on the moon.”
“Magic is waning,” the wizard lamented. “This tide will not ebb for centuries.  We must find refuge.”
“Then why work on this?” he pointed at the instrument.  “You say that magic is of the mind, not objects.”
“Exactly… and with this monstrosity and its descendants we will endure, young Gutenberg…” He sighed.  “Now finish printing those Bibles, we have other work to do…”
