“And I don’t think I have to tell any of you that SixApart really isn’t putting a lot of effort into Vox. I’ve been backing things up in WordPress for that day when things go *poof*, or when the spamming just gets to be too much for me.” — me, about three weeks ago in a post celebrating my 4th anniversary on vox.
By now, many of you have seen that vox is closing down. I can’t seem to say that it’s a big surprise to me given the level of attention it’s had over the past year or so. And so, we move on. I’ll make the transition to make my wordpress blog the primary site – rather than just a back up of here. I know a lot of people are mad at Vox and SixApart right now, but I’m not. Just bummed. It’s sad – there were a LOT of good interactions here that greatly outweighed the occasional spam.
And thanks to all you guys for following too! And if you’re so inclined, you can follow me all the way to wordpress:
