The young couple shelled over an egregious price for bottled water – especially when there were less expensive options. Overcoming his natural hesitation, he asked them why they’d buy that particular water when it was so pricey.
The woman perked up, “This has a special process to make a new state of water that’s better absorbed. It’s SO much better at hydrating you.”
He blinked. “You know… there’s only three states of water: solid, liquid and gas. Liquid water is liquid water. Charging three fifty for a “new” state is a scam…”
“What do you know?” she huffed, and they stalked out.
